Cerebrolysin Dosing Protocols

GoalDoseFrequency
Small Volume IVUp to 10mLOnce daily
IntramuscularUp to 5mLOnce daily
Acute Stroke20-50mLOnce daily for 10-21 days
Traumatic Brain Injury20-50mLOnce daily for 7-30 days
Alzheimer's Disease10-30mL5 days weekly for 4 weeks
Vascular Dementia10-30mL5 days weekly for 4 weeks

Reconstitution Steps

  1. 01 Break ampoule and extract Cerebrolysin immediately before use
  2. 02 For direct injection: Up to 10 mL IV undiluted (slow 3 minutes) or 5 mL IM
  3. 03 For infusion: Dilute 10-50 mL to minimum 100 mL with compatible solution
  4. 04 Start infusion immediately after dilution—infuse within 15 minutes
  5. 05 Flush IV catheter with sodium chloride before and after administration
  6. 06 Use disposable one-way infusion sets; discard after use
